Health and safety in the workplace, accidents at work, and occupational diseases

The obligation in terms of safety imposed on French employers requires them to implement a risk prevention policy with all due rigor. Whether the issues involve psychological risks resulting from employment, injuries to muscles and the skeleton, occupational cancer, etc., all the legislation has to be carefully monitored.

The Health and Safety practice is responsible for monitoring these risks, in order to be in a position to give our clients the best possible advice on the preventive actions to be taken, in relation to the CSE [Social & Economic Committee

The Health and Safety practice also has recognised experience with regard to litigation before the social security chamber of the High Court [to challenge the recognition of an occupational disease or an accident at work or contest the existence of inexcusable conduct] and also before the criminal courts following accidents at work or official reports drawn up by labour inspectors.
