The new government has included a number of measures which could impact the workplace in their proposed budget and namely the suspension of the pension reform adopted in 2023 for a period of one year, a limit on the types of trainings which can be financed with an employee’s training account fund and also the requirement for all employees and companies to pay 50€ if they wish to bring a matter before the employment tribunal.
The obligation to deliver a new type of pay slip which was due to come into effect on January 1st, 2026, will finally only be applicable from January 1st, 2027, in order to allow companies to adapt their payroll tools.
